Non-profit organizations like ours require funding to accomplish our mission. Your cash donations enable us to manage local and state programs dedicated to:
- Wildlife conservation, outdoor education and humanitarian services
- Restore, improve and protect mule deer habitat (including land and easement acquisitions)
- Self-sustaining, healthy, free ranging and huntable deer populations
- Promote public education and scientific research related to mule deer and wildlife management
- Develop programs that focus on recruitment and retention of youth into the shooting sports and conservation.
Are you an outfitter or guide? Consider donating a hunt to be auctioned or raffled to our Members. A hunt donation is a great way to get your name and your business in front of a global community of hunters looking for your services. It also generates tremendous good will toward you in response to your generosity which can easily return to you in the form of many new clients, friends, and business opportunities.
Donating your merchandise for auction or raffle is another great way to support your Bowhunters Chapter. Whether you are a manufacturer of bowhunting equipment, an owner of a hunting goods store or a private individual with good quality gear lying around, your donation of desirable merchandise generates funds for the Chapter and recognition for you*.
There are still other opportunities for you to support your Central Coast Chapter and MDF in addition to donations.
Membership – If you are not already enrolled, consider becoming a Member of MDF. Members receive access to resources and rights within the organization not offered to non-Members, and 100% of your Membership fee goes directly to meet MDF’s project and financial obligations.
Participate – From time to time the Chapter will host special events, auctions and raffles to raise awareness, support, and funds. Your participation in our events directly supports the Chapter through ticket sales.
Get Involved – Donations of money and services are great, but none of that can be put to use without our most valuable resource of all… YOU! Consider how you might volunteer some time to help the Chapter put our faces in the places that make a difference. Contact us to inquire where and how volunteers are needed, or tell us how you’d like to help out.
*Donations of money and merchandise may be kept anonymous if requested.
